Roof Warranty
Benefits of the Roof Warranty:
5 Year Coverage:
The Texan Roofers warrants to the homeowner/buyer of the specified project that the roof installed by The Texan Roofers will be free from leaks caused by substandard installation for 5 years from the warranty issue date. This does not cover normal wear and tear or damage from external factors as detailed in the exclusions.
Transferable Warranty:
This warranty is transferable one time only, provided the transferee submits a written request, pays a transfer fee of $450, and the request is approved by The Texan Roofers. The transfer of warranty must be completed within 15 days of property ownership transfer.
Terms:

The Texan Roofers’ obligation under this warranty is limited to repairing leaks caused directly by substandard installation by The Texan Roofers. This warranty does not cover leaks or damages caused by materials, normal wear and tear, or any other cause not directly related to workmanship by The Texan Roofers.

The homeowner must conduct an annual inspection of the roof at their own expense to maintain this warranty. If during any year the inspection is not performed, the warranty for that year and subsequent years becomes void.

This warranty does not cover cosmetic damages or any issue that does not result in a leak. It is limited to the roof system itself and does not extend to damages to the interior of the building, personal property, or any other structure or contents.

The homeowner is responsible for maintaining proper roof ventilation and insulation. Failure to maintain proper ventilation and insulation will void this warranty.

This warranty comes into effect once the roof installation is completed and all materials and labor costs are paid in full.

If the homeowner requires repairs not covered under this warranty, The Texan Roofers will provide a quote and conduct the repairs upon agreement. Payment for such repairs is due upon completion. Failure to pay for additional repairs will void this warranty.

The homeowner must notify The Texan Roofers within 7 of noticing any potential defect or leak. Delay in reporting may void the warranty.

The Texan Roofers must be given the first opportunity to repair any leaks or defects. If another contractor is used without The Texan Roofers’ consent, the warranty will become void.
Exclusions:

Damages due to lack of maintenance, neglect, or failure to follow The Texan Roofers’ care instructions.
Any alterations, modifications, or repairs made to the roof by parties other than The Texan Roofers without The Texan Roofers’ prior written consent.
Damages or leaks caused by structural defects or changes in the building, including but not limited to settlement or movement.
Incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to interior damage, mold, or loss of use.
Situations where the building or roof is used for purposes beyond its intended or normal use.
Natural wear and tear over the lifespan of the roofing materials.
